I provide tailored Personal Training services for residents of Penzance (and local areas) for anyone aged between 60-75.

My experience

I'm a fully qualified Personal Trainer and certified nutritionist. I spent the best part of 10 years providing my services across London before relocating to Cornwall with my wife in 2021 to be closer to family (and to raise my own family).

Why do I only train people aged 65-75?

Did you know, the NHS, the WHO and the CDC (3 of the biggest global public health organisations) all recommend that people aged over 65 do regular weight bearing activity (otherwise known as resistance or strength training).

Unfortunately, there are very few Personal Trainers or gyms in general who cater specifically for this demographic. The worst part about that fact is, its the 65+ demographic who need to be doing strength training more than anyone else.

I've trained clients of all ages but helping older adults regain strength and relieve pain is by far the most enriching part of my job.

What kind of Personal Training sessions I offer?

I provide professional, easy to follow, manageable and progressive resistance training sessions, designed to help maintain and even build strength, mobility and balance.

How do the sessions work?

  • Training sessions are purchased in 6 week blocks.
  • Training sessions are done from the comfort of your own home.
  • I provide the necessary training equipment for each 6 week block you do.
  • The first session of each block is done with me in person. I will show you the exercises (and the amount of sets and reps) you will be doing for each session during the 6 week block. The remaining sessions are completed individually by you (this hybrid approach allows me to provide a much more affordable service for my clients).
  • You will complete between 2-5 sessions per week with each session lasting between 20-45 minutes (all depending on your fitness levels)
  • I will be on hand to answer any questions and to provide support during your 6 week block (via email or phone).
